Illustration Friday: "Tales and Legends"

As a child, we'ren't you scared of "Tales and Legends"? This is from my recent novel art. Prismacolor mixed with photo of woods (Photoshopped). This is for "Illustration Friday." I wanted to make it like a movie poster, that's why the extra black space at the bottom (UPDATED AT BOTTOM). I think I'll add some words like a real movie poster. But as I think about it, Illustration Friday specifically asks that we not put words in the art. Hmmmm. Decisions, decisions. Enjoy.

Still From "The Chauk Show" Novella

This short online novella is just not getting the time it needs for me to finish it. I apologize to the masses, life just keeps getting in the way, yaknow? I'll try to post the whole series this weekend, instead of just stops and starts.

UPDATE: The journey starts HERE.

"Lola Beats" Just Rocks

I like this piece by David Garibaldi. The 25-year-old Garibaldi eventually started dabbing in paints in high school, where he was asked by a friend to paint live on stage during a hip-hop show. The paintings took on a musical flavor, and David felt he had found his calling. Check his site out

The Art of Anthony Ventura

The work of Anthony Ventura is episodic and demure - and oh so emphatically drawn. I'd love for his work to be a cartoon. Check his site out RIGHT HERE.
